Living as a disciple is not just being pious and orderly in worship; it means blessing those who persecute us. It means treating everyone fairly, even those who oppose us, and rejoicing with them when they rejoice or weeping with them when they weep. As believers, we do not seek anyone’s harm or destruction, but rather their good and salvation. After all, while we were still sinners rebelling against the Creator of the universe, Christ died for us. How much more should we show Christ’s love to those who oppose us? How do we do this?
